  • Last chance to Order a 2012 KHS Yearbook.

    Now is the last chance to order the 2012 yearbook with personalizations. All personalized yearbook orders are due by Monday May 7.

    Non-personalized orders will be accepted through May 15. Don’t miss out on your chance to own a 2012 yearbook. No extra yearbooks will be ordered. Order forms have been mailed home or can be picked up in the High School Office. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Anne Eley.

  • Vaccines For College Bound Seniors

    All college bound seniors will need to get their college entry required vaccines at the Kenton Hardin Health Department (419-673-6230) located at 175 W. Franklin St., Suite 100, Kenton, Ohio. If you have questions about these vaccines, please call that office. Usually Hepatitis B and Meningitis boosters are required. Additional vaccines may be required so please check with the college that you plan to attend for specific details.

    Hours of operation are:

    • Monday – 8:30 A.M. until 6:00 P.M.
    • Tuesday-Thursday –  8:30 A.M. until 4:00 P.M.
    • Friday – 8:30 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.

    There is a $14.00 one time injection fee as well as $10.00 for each vaccine payable the day the student receives the vaccines.  Payment can be made by cash or check payable to the Kenton Hardin Health Department. If the student is on Medicaid, please take the medicaid card with you for billing purposes.

     

  • Dental preventative services for 2nd and 3rd grade students

    The Health Partners of Western Ohio will once again be coming to the Kenton City Schools’ elementary buildings to provide dental exams, cleanings, flouride treatments and dental sealants to 2nd and 3rd grade students. This agency bills all types of Medicaid and private insurance and there is NO out of pocket expenses for the parents. This program is open to all children who do not have a family dentist or are unable to afford preventive services.

    Applications are at Espy, Hardin Central and Northwood school offices and are being sent home with all 2nd and 3rd grades students.

  • Preschool and Kindergarten registration and screening process

    Preschool and Kindergarten registration/screening process for the Kenton City School District will be held April 10, 11, 12 and 13 at the Westview Preschool and Kindergarten Center, 401 Scott Avenue, Kenton, OH.  Parents need to schedule an appointment with Carol Scott, Administrative Assistant at 419-673-4294.  At your scheduled appointment, please bring your child’s birth certificate (not birth record), social security card, immunization record and custody papers, if applicable.  To register for Preschool your child must be three years old on or before August 1, 2012.  To register for Kindergarten, your child must be five years old on or before August 1, 2012.  We look forward to working with you and your child.
